Nonprofit Advocacy 101: Mobilizing for Stronger Communities

The new administration appears poised to affect the nonprofit sector in big ways. Changes to the funding landscape, employee benefits, and the well-being of vulnerable communities are on the table. Due to uncertainty around regulations for nonprofit advocacy, many organizations - and individuals - are underestimating their ability to respond.

Join YNPN Portland for a brush-up on the do's and don'ts of nonprofit advocacy on Tuesday, March 14th. In addition to exploring rules and regulations, join in community with others seeking to take action.

This event will be led by Dr. Billie Sandberg, the Director of Portland State University's Nonprofit Institute. Doors will open at 6:00PM and the program will begin at 6:30PM. Light refreshments provided.

YNPN Portland charges a small fee to cover the costs associated with providing professional development events, but do not want the price to be an obstacle in attending. Please email Katie at [email protected] to request an exception to the fee.

This event is wheelchair accessible. For other accessibility needs, please contact Katie at the email above.

YNPN Portland will not issue refunds in response to canceled RSVPs for this event, unless there is an error during registration. We promise to put your money toward the development of future programming. Thank you.
