Even if you don’t have the word “manager” in your title, chances are good in a nonprofit job that you’re doing some management. Whether you’re involved in managing staff, volunteers, projects, board members, or all of the above, our November event will give you ideas and tips you can use right away. Join us November 19th at the Parsons Gallery at PSU’s Urban Center from 6 – 8pm and learn how to become a more effective manager in any position.
We’ll dig deeper into the different types of management with topic-specific breakout sessions. You’ll decide whether you want to focus on managing “Up”, “Down” or “Sideways”. Don’t worry if you’re interested in more than one: we’ll provide printed handouts so you can take home resources from all three sessions.
